In the context of climate-related disasters, HCC has witnessed a rise in the scale and frequency of humanitarian crises. Such incidents have led to an increase in the number of vulnerable people who have become displaced, at risk or in need of assistance.

HCC has a long and well-recognized record of providing humanitarian relief in times of crisis. When disaster strikes, HCC responds quickly to deliver high-quality lifesaving-assistance and essential protection to those effected the most.  HCC partners with governments to quickly get aid to those who are effected by these natural disasters such as earthquakes, landslides, cloud bursts, etc.

HCC works actively in disaster response, mitigation, and coordination in different regions to serve communities effected by natural disasters such as tsunamis, earthquakes, cyclones, landslides, floods, pandemics, cloud bursts, etc. HCC is well equipped to bring swift and effective mitigation measures in the face of disasters and provide mass feeding, temporary shelters, counseling, medical assistance, and resource distribution logistics.

HCC’s team is ready with support in the field to quickly aid with food supplies, medical assistance, blankets, clothing, and other relief supplies to those immediately impacted by the disaster. The concept behind our meticulous preparedness is that the scope of our relief measures should match the magnitude of ravages in terms of people effected and the extent of the geographical area involved.

During critical conditions due to the growing Covid-19 pandemic, HCC provided support to the underprivileged people in Uttarakhand, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan by supplying various essentials like basic staple food items, hygiene kits, masks and hand-sanitizer required for sustenance and survival under such critical conditions.  Additionally, HCC focused on the supply of life-saving medical equipment and ambulances to the hospitals. The idea was to get the hardest hit people, who were already in dire situations even before the covid-19 pandemic, through the worst economic damage caused by the onset of the pandemic.

HCC played a vital role during Covid-19 lockdown circumstances by providing ration to many thousands of families. For the sucess of this operation, HCC team purchased the above mentioned items at the source from local shopkeepers in remote villages of Uttarakhand and other states and arranged for direct delivery of these goods at the doorsteps of the people in desparate need of these supplies to surive. Distribution of various healthcare products like masks, hand sanitizer, and PPE kits to other front-line workers was also a critical program that HCC quickly implemented by mobilizing its resources.
